Human Worth
We believe all humans are inherently valuable. Based on the example of Jesus’ unconditional love, our work centers on fighting poverty and injustice alongside individuals who have been excluded, disqualified, or marginalized.
Trustworthiness
Recognizing the harm that many have experienced prior to their interaction with our organization, we strive to be worthy of trust in all aspects of our work. This includes continual application of trauma-informed principles such as safety, transparency, and empowerment while acknowledging systemic cultural and gender issues.
Holistic Care
We believe that healing is not one-dimensional and requires a holistic approach. This includes confronting and attending to physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional needs with empathy.
